We have started a new cycle of presentations in 2016 for our dear associates in the project FABBRICA DAYS. On this occasion, we organized the first presentation of MIRKA product line in 2016.
During the presentation all advantages of net dust free technology were defined:
- Healthier working environment without dust
- Prevention of working space contamination, especially in the places where varnishing process is taking part, by sanding dust generated as a by-product of sanding
- Extremely fast and efficient wooden substrates processing, as well as the varnishes coats sanding
- Without abrasive surface filling with sanding dust
- Extended exploitation time of abrasives – durability
- Elimination of tools defects that are provoked by sanding dust contamination
- Options for using sanding tools on field (reparations and similar) without creating dust
- Significant savings with the purchase of abrasive materials
Also, the diverse range of various types and sizes of standard abrasive materials, that can be applied in different segments of sanding, were presented.
Special attention of present participants was paid to the MIRKA tools (electric and pneumatic), which are unique for its ergonomic design, low weight and outstanding efficiency in their work.
The practical part of the presentation was realized in the NEW FABBRICA TRAINING CENTRE, which is equipped with modern appliances for sanding and polishing of the new generation, as well as equipment for the application and different coatings testing.

During the interactive presentation of the process of sanding and polishing, it was discussed, among other things, the importance of an adequate selection of abrasives granulation, especially during application of high gloss varnishing cycles.
Practical presentations of MIRKA products enabled all present associates to personally try out all the materials, techniques and procedures for achieving the best results in surface treatment.

Our technical team during the practical part demonstrated the usage of MIRKA tools and materials for pre-polishing and polishing process. Usage of mentioned products make this procedure easier and significantly reduces polishing procedures, but also provides top results achieving in the appearance of the treated surface in high gloss.
After completing the presentation, a constructive discussion on the topic of improving the existing procedures of sanding and polishing in manufacturing plants was took place, during which our guests got many advices from our application technicians with years of experience.
