PRESENTATION OF BORMA WACHS TOUCH UP PRODUCT RANGE AND MIRKA PROGRAM FOR SANDING AND POLISHING

Fabbrica company has recently expanded its product portfolio with a new product line of Italian manufacturer Borma Wachs. On this occasion, we have started the practice of practical presentations, in attempt to provide our customers option to find out more about their characteristics.

The first part of the presentation included a practical demonstration of working with material from the new “Touch up” product range for reparations and restorations. This line of products was designed to simplify a complicated process that involves repairing of surfaces that have been lacquered.

On this occasion, all the advantages of this program, that is especially important during the process of reparation of minor or major damages on the previously varnished surfaces that occur during the disposal, transport or mounting elements, were presented. Our technicians demonstrated the application of techniques that ensure fast and efficient reparation procedure.

The guests showed particular interest for:

  • Soft waxes for reparations
  • Hard waxes for reparations
  • Markers for damage reparations
  • Pens for wood texture drawing
  • Spray for reparations in various gloss percentages

Apart from the “Touch up” line for reparations and restoration, the great interest of our guests caused a new range of fillers (one and two component), suggested for minor repairs, but also major damages on varnished surfaces. A special advantage of this group is that the tones can be mixed in order to achieve the appropriate desired shade.

From the new program Borma Wasch, the special-purpose products “Ca’d’Oro” line, were presented. This group of products are used for the treatment of antique furniture, icons and iconostasis, unique frames, moldings and similar elements in the interior. This group includes gold, silver and bronze leaves with a complete accompanying program, as well as tools that facilitate their implementation.

The last but not the least important segment, that caused special interest of all present participants, was the detailed presentation of sanding and polishing procedure. This time, Mirka tools and abrasives, suggested for achieving the desired final effects of the treated surface were presented.

In addition to standard sanding materials, novelties from the KWH Mirka, were presented:

  • special series of abrasives and tools for the processing of composite materials (kerrock, artificial stone and granite),
  • materials for polishing of glass surfaces in order to eliminate the damage caused during their exploitation.
